Overview
Research in the Alabi lab seeks to understand how the composition and sequence of a macromolecular chain affects its chemical and biological properties with an eye towards engineering effective and affordable biomolecular therapeutics. As a group, we are interested in the assembly of new sequence-controlled macromolecules that can be used to quantitate intracellular processes, develop efficient drug delivery bioconjugates and design new classes of potent antimicrobial agents.
