Dr. Walter Leal of the University of California-Davis recently gave a memorial lecture in honor of Dr. Jerrold Meinwald, a distinguished Cornell professor (emeritus) and one of the founding fathers of chemical ecology. Dr. Meinwald taught, conducted research, and was involved with the Cornell community for over 50 years, earning countless awards and contributing greatly to the field of chemistry. He passed away in 2018.
