Arash Latifkar, a fourth year graduate student in the Cerione Lab and H. Lin Lab, was recently awarded the $25,000 Pre-and-Post-Doctoral Grant from the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester. According to the Breast Cancer Coalition of Rochester website, the coalition is committed to supporting and furthering breast cancer research. Coalition grant money is intended for use as “seed money” to fund innovative new projects with the potential to yield significant medical breakthroughs.
